Rachel Rooney, autism and poetry

Rachel Rooney, autism and poetry

A few years ago, Rachel Rooney was diagnosed with autism. Her decision to go for tests was partly inspired by a TV documentary about Limpsfield Grange, a unique residential school for 11 – 16 year old girls with autism. Poetry, says Rachel, has been both life-saving and life changing for her. Now she’s working with the girls  at Limpsfield Grange on a year-long poetry project. Read her blog.
