Kensington + Chelsea Art Week Poetry Display: Call for Entries

August 20, 2020

Kensington + Chelsea Art Week is a ten-day festival that shines a spotlight on the area’s unexpected and unique cultural variety across 100+ venues, including studios, museums, galleries, exhibition spaces and businesses, attracting local and international audiences.

To celebrate the third edition of Kensington + Chelsea Art Week (KCAW) and in order to give greater visibility to locally based creative talent, KCAW20 is launching an open call to poets and spoken word artists to submit poems to be displayed in the windows of participating venues throughout the borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Poets and writers are invited to submit work that responds to the curatorial theme “Transformation”. Selected poems will be displayed printed on window vinyls in participating venues, including galleries, stores, and creative spaces across the West London borough.
