A Virtual Evening with Simon Armitage

September 3, 2020

Join the Poet Laureate in his writing shed for live online conversation, poetry reading and audience Q&A via Zoom on Sept 25th from 7.30pm. Simon Armitage will discuss public engagement as a poet and read some of the many poems he’s written for standalone projects, commissions and collaborations. Recently collected in Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic (Faber), this work represents the nature and scale of his poetry and covers an eclectic array of subjects including sculpture, the environment, travel, drama, and media. After the reading, audience members will be invited to put their question to Simon. This event won’t be recorded so be sure to log in! Tickets £5.
