BBC Local Poets 2018

BBC Local Poets 2018

BBC Local Radio teamed up with 12 specially chosen poets across England to create a dozen new poems for broadcast on National Poetry Day.

The theme for 2018 was Change, so we invited local radio listeners to suggest a change that deserves to be celebrated in poetry. Here are our twelve poets – watch them read their poems in the films and follow the links to read them online.

You can watch poem videos below or sit back and listen to all the poets brought together in a BBC Local Radio special.
