WIN a National Poetry Day schools kit – posters, badges and books

In schools all over the country it’s the day when poetry breaks out of the classroom into the corridors, the canteen, the sports field, and beyond.

To kick-start the countdown, we’re offering schools all over the UK the chance to win a special National Poetry Day schools kit to help you prepare for the big day.

Each kit contains 6 National Poetry Day posters, 30 “say it with a poem” badges, 3 tote bags, and £50 worth of poetry books.

How to enter:

We want to hear what outlandish plans you have to mark the day. In the past, we’ve heard of schools giving poems to passers-by, dinner ladies giving free biscuits to pupils who read them a poem, schools appointing poetry police to arrest pupils who aren’t carrying a poem at all times…

Email us a short overview of your plans giving a taste of what’s in store to NPDschools@fmcm.co.uk. In your email, please include your full name, school details, contact number, and Twitter handle (if you have one).

Entries close at midnight on Friday 16 September 2016. Please see full Terms & Conditions below.

Spread the word:

Share this competition with teachers, school staff and parents – the more entries for your school the more chances of winning!
