National Poetry Day libraries competition

Libraries – WIN a National Poetry Day kit – posters, badges and books

National Poetry Day (6 October 2016) is the day when poetry breaks out from the bookshelf, launching onto the streets, shops, and airwaves as everyone all over the UK gets involved. This year’s theme is Messages and we’re inviting everyone to join the fun and say it with a poem.

Libraries are a key part of this – the literary landmarks for so many communities – and this year, to kick-start the countdown, we’re offering libraries all over the country the chance to win a special National Poetry Day kit to help you prepare for the big day.

Each kit contains 6 National Poetry Day posters, 30 “say it with a poem” badges, 3 tote bags, and £50 worth of poetry books.

How to enter:

We want to hear what outlandish plans you have to mark the day. Email us a short overview of YOUR plans with a photo or video that gives a taste of what’s in store to NPDlibraries@fmcm.co.uk. In your email, please include your full name, library details, contact number, and Twitter handle (if you have one).

Entries close at midnight on Friday 16 September 2016. Please see full Terms & Conditions below.
