Poems at the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum

Experience the humble beginnings of the controversial writer who scandalised the literary establishment. Visit this authentically recreated miner’s cottage, birthplace of world renowned Nottinghamshire author D.H. Lawrence, then explore the surrounding countryside, which inspired his work.  This charming, award-winning museum also features his original water colour paintings and his headstone! We’ll talk through selected extracts of poems on the museum tours for one day only to celebrate National Poetry Day, come and learn more about Lawrence’s life through his writing!
